Ballinwell Group is the first to reach 200 automated gas stations in our country


In recent weeks, Ballenoil has opened three new automatic service stations in the Community of Madrid (Alcalá de Henares, Pinto and Arganda del Rey) that already have 200 service stations in operation, becoming the first company in the automated sector to achieve this. A landmark in our country, which confirms the growth of this business in the fuel sector.

These service stations operate 24 hours a day and have an employee during business hours. In our country there are approximately 12,000 gas stations.

By the end of the year, it expects to have 230 stations, increasing its investment by about 15 million euros to strengthen its presence in Spain. This increase came thanks to the new fuel stations and the expansion of the internal structure with improved remote customer service and technical assistance, with the establishment of the Exploitation Control Center (Cecoex) equipped with the latest technology to make accident resolution easier and more efficient and thus offer a better experience for the consumer, ”they explain from this group.

Most of the gas stations will have car wash centers operated by Ballena Azul, a subsidiary of the group, offering the possibility of charging the electric vehicle. Specifically, the company already has more than 40 machines installed and in operation. These chargers are installed by both Endesa X and Iberdrola and are fast charging (50 kW) and semi fast charging (22 kW), depending on whether they are located closer to urban centres. This infrastructure allows 100 km of autonomy to be recharged in an electric vehicle in 20-30 minutes.

In this sense, Ballenoil intends to expand the electric freight service to the 200 stations it has in Spain in the medium term.
