The Egyptian National Team Doctor Reveals the Facts of Mohamed Salah When Competing in the 2021-2022 Champions League Final, What is it?

A shocking FACT comes from a Mohamed Salah. Yes, Liverpool’s mainstay striker was not fit when he played in the 2021-2022 Champions League Final, at the end of last May.

This was revealed by the Egyptian national team doctor, Mohamed Abou El Ela. He stated that the Egyptian national team player was still injured when he faced Real Madrid in the 2021-2022 Champions League Final.

This fact is certainly quite surprising. The reason is, Mohamed Salah played the full match in the 2021-2022 Champions League Final.

Unfortunately, Mohamed Salah et al have to admit the greatness of Real Madrid. The Reds (Liverpool’s nickname) lost 0-1 in the decisive match and failed to win the 2021-2022 Champions League.

As is known, two weeks before against Real Madrid, Liverpool first played the 2021-2022 FA Cup Final against Chelsea. In that match, Mohamed Salah suffered an injury until he was replaced by Diogo Jota in the 33rd minute.

Even so, Liverpool managed to win the match on penalties (6-5). Then, in the last match of the 2021-2022 Premier League, which was also the title-determining party, Mohamed Salah returned to play against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Even though the match was only six days before the 2021-2022 Champions League Final, and only eight days different from the match against Chelsea, in the 2021-2022 FA Cup Final. Practically, Mohamed Salah’s condition for recovery is minimal.

However, Mohamed Salah looks in good shape. In fact, the 30-year-old striker is still injured after the match against Chelsea.

“Mohamed Salah’s injury occurred during the FA Cup final (14 May) in the adductor muscle, then he played against Wolves (22 May) and in the Champions League Final (28 May), and all this in just 14 days,” said dr. Abou was quoted from the Daily Mail, Sunday (19/6/2022).

“We read the statistics that he is the second highest player in terms of minutes played this season at Liverpool. No wonder he is the mainstay of the team,” he continued.

Further, dr. Abou said he had received a medical report from Liverpool regarding Mohamed Salah’s current condition. The 30-year-old will undergo an X-ray before returning to the squad on July 4, 2022.

“We sent and received a player with a medical report, and Liverpool said he was in pain and had to undergo an x-ray. I’m sure no player is 100 per cent fit, but there are questions whether he can push himself and play without risk.”
