Manchester City dare to take a significant step in the process of signing Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. The Citizens have reportedly agreed fantastic terms with the player’s representatives.
According to the Daily Mail, the club managed by Pep Guardiola was willing to offer a contract worth more than £500,000 per week to goalscoring machine Die Borussen. “Haaland going to (Manchester) City, if the reports are true, (it) is a pretty scary prospect for the Premier League,” he said, as quoted by Liputan6.com.
“It means the Premier League will become more like Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga if Haaland comes in and gets into action. His number of goals will make it very difficult for any club to approach Manchester City.”
“Of course football doesn’t always work like that. We thought Lukaku would make Chelsea the favorites to win, but for one reason or another it didn’t happen. But if Haaland goes to City, plays at his best, and they create chances for him, that’s a scary prospect.”
