Pilara calls Ferrovial a “piracy company” and tells them to return “the last euro the Spaniards gave them.”

The government’s attacks on Ferrovial don’t stop. Podemos leader and Minister for Social Rights Ioni Pilara called Ferrovial a “pirate company” to move its financial headquarters to the Netherlands. “You have to short them so that they have to return every euro the Spaniards gave them.”

This is what Pilara expressed in her speech at the feminist meeting of the “force that changes” the course of Podemos in Madrid, where she claimed that the feminist movement “proposes a change of perspective” in order to “move from the logic of capitalism, from the logic of permanent”. The accumulation of economic benefits to “defend” the rights of the social majority.

In this context, he said that this week he saw a “very concrete example” of what happened to Ferrovial, which was made ugly by its conversion when it “took 1,000 million euros of public contracts in this legislature alone”.

Unidas Podemos’ minister noted during her speech that Ferrovial benefited from “the nationalization of her salaries with ERTE and that later, when things went wrong, she was bailed out with money from all Spaniards”. Now, he lamented, “he decided to take his headquarters out of Spain.”

“It is a pirate company and it must be plainly said,” he insisted in this regard, asking them to return what the Spaniards had contributed so that it could be used for public services. This puts the logic of life before the logic of economic benefits.

In addition to Pilara, there are other members of the government such as Diaz, Calvino, Escrivá or President Sanchez himself, who have spoken out strongly in recent days against the construction company’s decision.
