Escrivá will charge a solidarity fee on top of salaries to be able to pay for the pension reform


In the second package of measures, the government included increasing the intergenerational equity mechanism to 1.2%.

It maintains a no-stop course for maximum rules of 1.165% over the next 25 years, a percentage added to the applied increase to account for the progression of inflation.

The Solidarity Fee will be applied progressively to the highest earners, those who exceed the maximum contribution base at any given time.
