‘Doctor Strange 2’ Trailer Finally Releases, Secretly Seduces Twist Villain Scarlet Witch
The Trailer Shows One Unpleasant Moment Of Scarlet Witch In Her Full Magical Form, Sitting Cross-legged In The Center Of A Candlelight Circle In What Looks Like A Temple.
The first trailer for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” has finally been released. This trailer places Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) as an important ally for the Sorcerer, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
However, there is one detail that seems to give a little hint that he has the potential to turn evil. Scarlet Witch’s status as a hero has always been more complex than that of the other Avengers. He started out as an enemy, but turned against Ultron to forge an alliance with the superheroes.
Unfortunately, the unintentional mass murder of citizens in the opening of “Captain America: Civil War” positions it as something dangerous. Even now, after WandaVision and her children’s cries that echo across the multiverse, it’s hard to say exactly where Wanda’s moral compass lies.
The “Multiverse of Madness” trailer shows one ominous moment of Scarlet Witch in her full magical form, sitting cross-legged in the center of a wax circle in what appears to be a temple. While it could suggest Wanda lending her powers to save the universe from some undefined multiversal threat, the fact that her fingers have black spots could be a warning.
The color change reflects what happens to Agatha Harkness in “WandaVision” when she attacks and tries to drain Wanda’s magic. The assumption there, and the nature of the spell Agatha casts, is that it’s dark magic, hence the discoloration, and Wanda’s changing hands in the “Doctor Strange 2” trailer also suggest something sinister.
Inevitably such sightings led to speculation that he had turned evil. To know for sure, audiences have to see it live when the film hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
