A Delhi-bound Spicejet airplane, wearing 185 passengers, landed safely again in Patna proper after take-off as its left engine had stuck hearth following a chook hit, officers have mentioned. Movies shot via locals at the floor display sparks popping out from the left engine.

Aviation regulator DGCA resources mentioned {that a} chook had led to the hearth. The pilots then close down the engine and landed safely, they mentioned. 

All passengers have been safely evacuated and there was no document of any harm, mentioned Manavjit Singh Dhillon, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna Police.

“The Delhi-bound flight had returned to Patna airport after locals spotted a fireplace within the airplane and knowledgeable district and airport officers. All 185 passengers safely deboarded,” mentioned Chandrashekhar Singh, District Justice of the Peace, Patna.
