Authorities activate security protocols at the national level for organized riots

at least Five people died Eleven others were injured in a riot that took place in the Litoral prison, in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The National Comprehensive Care Service for Adults Deprived of Their Liberty and Adolescent Offenders (SNAI) reported the casualty balance, noting that the injured were taken to hospitals and that they were out of danger.
In addition, the Syrian security apparatus has since announced the activation of security protocols in all detention centers nationwide “Prison security agents are being held by organized crime groups” in different prisons.
For this reason, “the security institutions are releasing them and returning to normal life,” although the National Security Agency confirmed that the agents were “in good condition.”
