Women entrepreneurs from Madrid unite to promote the Ibero-American Conference CIME 2023


More than a dozen associations of women entrepreneurs and managers from Madrid, and from other regions of the country, are promoting the largest Ibero-American conference of the year, CIME 2023. Gricel Garrido, president of ASEME (Spanish Association of Madrid Businesswomen) for the first time, has managed to unite all Her representatives to promote the Women in Business Influencing Conference, which will be held on June 15, 16 and 17, at CEOE headquarters and the Palacio de Cibeles. More than 200 people, mostly entrepreneurs, from all over Latin America are expected to attend.

“If women entrepreneurs unite, we will be stronger and our companies will also grow, creating opportunities and jobs,” says Gricell Garrido. The new president of ASEME is responsible for the fact that most of the federations in the different regions of Madrid are already working so that the CIME is an engine of opportunities. It is the 33rd Congress of Ibero-American Businesswomen and its goal is to promote entrepreneurship on both sides of the ocean, to promote internationalization and leadership with values.

Since her appointment as President of ASEME, Gricell Garrido has set out to transform women’s business into an example of good governance, prosperity and dynamism, creating networks of collaboration. Its slogan “Women attract women” is known throughout the Madrid business environment. It intends to unite for growth and to strengthen links and synergies.

A few days ago, the representatives of the regional federations in Madrid held a meeting chaired by Miguel Garrido, President of CEIM, and Grisel Garrido, at the CEOE headquarters, to define joint actions to promote CIME. Among the attendees were Ana Bella Longo, President of AMPSI (Association of Professional Women in Real Estate); Sandra Serrada Sanchez, President of AJE (Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Madrid); Yvette Barreto Palacios and Alejandra Yznaga Dimas, President and Director of Communications of AMEIB Pachamama (Ibero-American Businesswomen’s Association); Rosa María García Lujan, President of AMEROZAS (Association of Business Women of Las Rozas); Giselle da Silva Costa, Gabriela Martínez Gubia, AM3C (Association of Business Women of Tres Cantos) representatives; Esther Villabon-Barbera, President and Gloria Salazar Barreto, AMEA (Association of Business Women of Alcorcon) member; Raquel Gómez Núñez, President of AMEP POZUELO (Association of Women in Business of Pozuelo); María Dolores García Gómez, President of AMECHE (Association of Businesswomen and Entrepreneurs of the Henares Corridor and Surroundings); Susana Jimeno Pérez, Director of the Presidential Office AMMDE (Multisectoral Association of Women, Managers and Entrepreneurs); and Rosa Gálvez Linares, President of ASSEMAC (Association of Business Women of Alcalá de Henares and Corredor).

On behalf of ASEME (Association of Spanish Businesswomen) were present: Griselle Garrido, President; Vice-Presidents María de la Peña and Pilar Benito García, as well as members Remedios Martínez, Marina Sánchez, Alba González, Ana María Diaz, Carmen Mayorga, Carmen Salazar, Marisa Leal, Ursula Violetta Mba, Marisolza Migueno, and Susana Caberita.

The dream of the Businesswomen’s Union

The Spanish Association of Women Entrepreneurs (ASEME) is a professional association, created in 1969 and officially founded in 1971, to promote the full development of women as entrepreneurs, liberal professionals or managers.
