A robust earthquake of magnitude 6.1 was once reported close to the India-Myanmar border on Friday morning, consistent with the Nationwide Middle for Seismology mentioned.
Tremors had been felt throughout Tripura, Manipur and Assam. Witness accounts on Eu-Mediterranean Seismological Centre’s (EMSC) web page mentioned that the quake was once felt as some distance away as Kolkata.
